Do you have pulmonary hypertension or scleroderma? This study aims to understand how scleroderma, a skin condition, can raise the risk of pulmonary hypertension and heart failure. The study will also test whether treatments for pulmonary hypertension in people who do not have scleroderma are effective in people who have both pulmonary hypertension and scleroderma. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and must have either pulmonary hypertension or scleroderma. This study is located in Maryland.

Are you an adult with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)? This study wants to understand whether mild intermittent hypoxia can help continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment work better in people who have OSA. Participants who use CPAP will be given air with low levels of oxygen for short periods during sleep. Researchers will look for improvements in OSA symptoms in people who are exposed to mild intermittent hypoxia and treated with CPAP. To participate, you must be between 18 and 60 years old. This study takes place in Detroit, Michigan.

Have you been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and been referred to the Yale New Haven Hospital Sleep Center for continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment? This study is examining how the features that can raise or lower the risk of OSA can impact how well CPAP works in an individual. Researchers will use detailed sleep studies to determine which features contribute to OSA. Results from this study will help researchers develop treatment plans that can lead to personalized OSA treatments to improve patient lives. To participate in this study, you must be at least 19 years old. This study takes place in North Haven, Connecticut.

Are you an adult who has been diagnosed with sleep apnea, prediabetes, and overweight or obesity? This study aims to understand how sleep apnea raises the risk of diabetes. The study will test whether treating sleep apnea with medicines or continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) helps lower the risk of diabetes in people who have prediabetes. To participate in this study, you must be 20 to 65 years old. This study takes place in Chicago, Illinois.
