Do you have high blood pressure? Do you have high blood pressure? Stress raises your risk for cardiovascular disease and health issues, like high blood pressure. Researchers are testing whether a training program on a smartphone can help lower stress. To join, you must be 45 years old, have high perceived stress, and be living in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.

Do you have uncontrolled blood pressure? Do you have uncontrolled blood pressure? This study is evaluating how minocycline, an antibiotic, affects blood pressure in individuals who are unresponsive to blood pressure treatment and if the effect is different across individuals from different racial backgrounds. To participate in this study, you must be 18 years old or older and identify as White or Black or African American. This study is located in Gainesville, Florida.

Would you like more support with your heart and metabolic health? Would you like more support with your heart and metabolic health? This study will provide patients with personalized information about community-based resources to support health-related social needs and heart and metabolic health. You may be able to participate if you are 2 years or older, African American or Black, and you have at least one cardiometabolic condition. Conditions may include being overweight, having high blood pressure, pre-diabetes or diabetes, and/or high cholesterol. This study is recruiting in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Do you suffer from insomnia? Do you suffer from insomnia? The kind of insomnia you have might have an impact on other health outcomes like blood pressure. This study will examine whether patients with short and normal sleep duration respond differently to two common insomnia treatments, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia or the medication trazodone. You may be able to participate if you are 18 years old or older and meet the criteria for chronic insomnia.

Have you newly given birth or are you expecting parenthood soon? Have you newly given birth or are you expecting parenthood soon? This study is assessing how low-dose aspirin immediately following childbirth may enhance recovery of blood vessels in women with preeclampsia. To participate in the study, you must be 18 to 55 years old and diagnosed with preeclampsia. This study is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This study will provide support like text messages or text chat with a pharmacy to help you reduce your risk for cardiovascular disease. You may be able to participate if you are 18 to 89 years old. Do you have obesity? Do you have obesity? Obese individuals also have lower levels of circulating Natriuretic Peptides. Natriuretic Peptides are hormones produced by the heart, which directly regulate non-dipping blood pressure by causing dilation of blood vessels and by removing sodium and water from the body. This study is evaluating the effect of the timing of administration of a medication that helps many people with obesity. To participate in the study, you must be 18 years or above and your body mass index should be between 30 to 45. This study is located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Are you an adult whose high blood pressure does not improve with lifestyle changes and medicines? This study will assess whether minocycline, an antibiotic with anti-inflammatory effects, can improve blood pressure control in patients who do not respond to medicines in combination with lifestyle changes, such as physical activity, weight loss, and healthy eating patterns. To participate you must be at least 18 years old and have high blood pressure that does not respond to treatment with three different high blood pressure medicines even when used at the maximum doses. Please note that this study is in Gainesville, Florida.

Are you an adult who has uncontrolled high blood pressure? This study will see whether an early notification system for health professionals can help manage patients’ high blood pressure, especially among those who have had a stroke or have an increased risk of stroke. To participate in this study, you must be between 18 and 85 years old and have high blood pressure that is not controlled by medicine and lifestyle changes. This study is enrolling native English, Spanish, or Hmong speakers. The study is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Do you want to get better at taking your blood pressure medicine? This study will test a program aimed at helping motivate people to take their blood pressure medicine. Each day, participants who took their medicine will be eligible to win a prize through a smartphone app that tracks whether they are taking their medicine. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have an active prescription for high blood pressure medication. This study is located in New York, New York.
