Blood Brain Barrier
Funding to support collaborative research between hematologists/vascular experts, neuroscientists, and blood-brain barrier (BBB) tissue chip developers to create platforms that more closely model the human BBB.
This funding opportunity is a collaboration between the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and the Department of Defense Joint Program Committee-6 (JCP-6) Combat Casualty Care Research Program (CCCRP), U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC). The program announcement aims to address recommendations from the Trans-Agency Blood-Brain Interface Workshop 2016.
