Advancing Nutrition Research to Promote Respiratory Health in Adults

Description

The Division of Lung Diseases at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will convene a two-day virtual workshop entitled “Advancing Nutrition Research to Promote Respiratory Health in Adults” on September 19th-20th, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST. This workshop will bring together multidisciplinary researchers, including nutritional and dietary experts, pulmonary researchers, and data scientists, to discuss the current state of science regarding nutrition and diet in respiratory health and diseases and to identify critical research gaps, challenges and opportunities. The primary goal of this workshop is to advance nutrition research to promote respiratory health and to aid in the prevention and management of diseases in adults with chronic respiratory conditions.
