Facebook LIVE: High Blood Pressure is Manageable

Every year, May 17 is dedicated to World Hypertension Day (WHD). This is an initiative of the World Hypertension League (WHL), an affiliated section of the International Society of Hypertension, which is also supported by the NHLBI.

The purpose of the WHD is to promote public awareness of hypertension and to encourage citizens of all countries to prevent and control this silent killer, the modern epidemic.

This year, in honor of WHD, the NHLBI is hosting a Facebook Live with three cardiovascular investigators and a stroke expert from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Join in the live broadcast, High Blood Pressure is Manageable, as we discuss the latest in hypertension and stroke research and care.
